Eligarf (@eligarf.996) is one of those up-and-coming artists you fall in love with on first listen. She’s fun, she’s energetic, and she gives you exactly what you didn’t know you needed. A kind of musical therapy you simply cannot resist — one that has you moving a hip (or two) and turning into a living-room Salman Khan. And that’s just when you’re listening to her on Spotify.

Seeing her live for the first time at @femeipematasari, I realised that all of this energy multiplies exponentially the moment she steps on stage — her songs lifting a crowd that braved the rain just to be there. I’ll definitely be going back, if nothing else to find out whether she actually knows who Sevdaliza is.
