Pride And Colour

Pride parades everywhere are always an amazing sight to behold. They are a gathering of colour, happiness, music, character and, especially, freedom: of love, of expression, of being whoever you want to be. Marching along the streets, dancing, waving flags and flipping fans as a statement of existence and being, everyone is welcoming everyone in a display of colourful statement.

And it’s so nice to see that also in Bucharest, after so many years when this event was small, timid, shunned by passersby and taking place under the auspices of questionable security, it has now found its rhythm, its soul, and also its courage. The voices are louder, the colours are more colourful, the music is booming and pride is now finally prideful.
